I worked with the team at Otobots to create visual assets for the new and improved app design. My main priority for the new app was to clean it up; introduce a new user experience friendly easy-to-navigate app for both mechanics and clients, identifying the pain-points and clean up any unnecessary touch-based selection/tap options, but most importantly, put together a strong but recgonizable interface guide to set the brand up for success and growth. The company is passionate about their work, something that was important to highlight in the interfaces personality via organized colour scheme and lively approach.
User experience design (UXD or UED) is the process of enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty by improving the usability, ease of use, and pleasure provided in the interaction between the customer and the product.
The design work displayed here was created while under contract with Otobots. My main role on this project was creating the foundation of the new brand, including but not limited to: alternates and icons, a strong colour story, various graphic elements, and their application. The rest of the team then took on these elements and built out the app. The present state of the app may have been modified from its original design and as such may no longer represent the original concept. Shown below is the original re-brand app design.
